An 'Eatertainment' Easter

Sebastien Centner, Canada's leading entertainment and lifestyle expert, jumped into action when it came time to plan an Easter Party suited for kids (and their adult tag-alongs of course).  Sheridan Nurseries, on Yonge Street, provided the perfect Spring setting and more than enough flowers for Sebastien, the kids and the bunnies.

Once the venue is chosen the next element to all great parties is what is being served.  For an Easter afternoon with the kids, Sebastien suggests timing the party so that it falls in between meal times, allowing for lots of fun treats to be served without the stress of major preparation time.

Keep the kids' energy levels high by having them snack on bite sized eats.

- Teeny-Tiny Carrot Muffins
- Fruit & Cheese Nibblers
- Easter Bunny Trail Mix
- Rabbit's Food (aka fresh veggies)

Bright plastic plates, easter baskets, asian takeout containers and simple glass cubes are all great table setting options.

As always, Sebastien knows how to keep his guests happy. Colourful kiddy cocktails, such as 'Sparkle Shakes' or 'Bunny Milk', will help keep your young party goers refreshed after you tire them out with an afternoon of crafts, games and of course a well organized egg hunt! Click on the drinks for complete instructions.

Keep your egg hunt chocolates protected from the elements by hiding them in larger plastic eggs, readily available at most dollar stores. Then go to town hiding  them throughout your home or neighbourhood and let the hunting begin.

A big thanks to everyone who helped make our Easter party a huge success!
